I am a folk herbalist dedicated to the Vitalist tradition of Western herbalism. My focus is primarily rooted in supporting the wellness of women throughout their childbearing years.
Living in the interior mountains of British Columbia, I work closely with plants and natural remedies of the Pacific Northwest.
In addition to herbalism, I study various modalities of holistic healing and am continuously inspired by the patterns of the natural world around me.
Sincerely,
Ally Fleckenstein
My journey of becoming a woman interested in natural, holistic health has been an unpredictable and fascinating maze. Like so many, I was raised in an environment readily disconnected from traditional ways of healing previously used to encourage a vital life.
Through a variety of personal health challenges in my 20s, I learned that the future of my health is in my hands. My path of healing required me to return to my natural state, as I had lived much of my previous life perilously asleep at the wheel.
I experienced a major shift in my perception of what it means to be healthy in that decade. I came to realize that robust personal responsibility is required in order to experience the vital health we are all designed for.A deep desire for health beget my love for the natural world as well as my love for the arts of traditional medicine. Now in my early 30s, my own journey into motherhood has inspired me to use the framework of Vitalist herbalism to assist women in developing a holistic understanding of their physiology. I am here to serve women who know their capacity for health and want to birth Life into being, free of unnecessary intervention.
Currently serving women at home in Vernon, BC and the surrounding Okanagan region. I also offer various remote services for women worldwide.

Remedy Holistics is the culmination of wisdom I have gained from my teachers Gloria Lemay, Sajah Popham, Susun Weed, Amandha Vollmer, Warren Kistenbroker, Oscar Coca, Matthew Wood & Richo Cech. These teachers are among many other authors & practitioners I continue to study with in regards to the topics of Western herbalism, physiological pregnancy, indigenous medicine, home birth, Spagyrics and formulation of herbal remedies.
My practice is the synthesis of many masters who have come before and in this sense I am self-taught.
I have formally trained in holistic clinical assessment through studies with The School of Evolutionary Herbalism, as well as the Wise Woman Way of Doula Care with Gloria Lemay to encourage women through holistic pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum
“Wise Woman healing is grounded, earthed, rooted. The wise woman accepts herself and her changes, her moods and her bleedings. She tends to birthing and dying without alienation from herself or the ones she helps. She is open to the life song surrounding her, she hears the secrets of the herbs… All that she needs for health and well being grows within the fall of her foot.
She prepares the nourishment, she concocts the medicines. She is filled with creativity. Her life, her children, her art, her healing are shaped by her understanding of color, tone, harmony, and balance.
She is wise in the ways of heart, body and spirit.”
